‘I will do anything to make it happen,’- A father’s love
“Her mother left when she was just 3-months old…just me and her alone since then,” said Eaton Lawson in deep reflection on raising his 16-year old daughter, Sudan. The wheelchair-bound girl is an ambitious teen who attends the Mona High School in Kingston, where she’s already working hard to achieve her goal of becoming a journalist.
Getting Sudan to school has not been easy for Eaton who uses public transportation to take her to and from there every day. Consider this while he juggles work and other commitments in order to keep his family going.
Upon hearing about Eaton and Sudan’s story, we teamed up with Lasco Jamaica in time for Father’s Day to gift this exemplary father with a small token of appreciation for his dedication and sacrifice.
“Sudan will sit 7 CXCs next year, she wants to be a journalist and I will do all I can to make sure that happens,” Eaton beamed with renewed confidence.
We have no doubt he will keep his word.
